In addition to a strong academic program, the high school experience promotes leadership, service, responsibility, and a sense of being a "caring community" within the school. Serving and Learning Together (SALT) trips are organized each year to provide opportunities for community service.

S.A.L.T. Projects
Understanding the biblical concept of serving along with Jesus' model that He came to serve and not to be served (Mark 10:45), we designed the S.A.L.T trips to give our students educational and service opportunities that are not readily available or conducive to the regular classroom. The purposes of these projects are to expose the students to people and activities in the various regions of Thailand in order to serve and develop their world view about helping those around them. The service involves things such as building houses with Habitat for Humanity, helping with orphanages, painting schools/churches, and cleaning up beach areas. The educational component involves hands-on learning about math, science, and language arts, as well as the culture, history, geography of the regions visited. The relationships formed and the confidence built by the students and staff are extra benefits that make it an even more valuable experience.
